Experienced Graphic Designers, what software do you use most?

Obviously I'm sure it depends on what you specialize in but just trying to get an idea of how I should prioritize which Adobe applications I work on. Recently had a graphic designer tell me they spend ~90% of their time in photoshop and I'm wondering if that is fairly normal or not. Feel free to mention what type of work or specialization you do and your most used apps. Thanks for your time. Any tips with learning and things to focus on are greatly appreciated as well.

Many designers, especially those in branding, advertising, or digital art, will spend a significant portion of their time here. It's especially popular for retouching photos, creating composites, and designing assets for websites and social media.

Photoshop is a staple for photo editing, compositing, and digital painting. Illustrator is essential for vector graphics, logos, and illustrations, while InDesign is key for layout work (e.g., magazines, brochures).

Adobe Photoshop is the most popular graphic software today. When mentioning Photoshop, users immediately think of the power of this outstanding photo editing application. In addition, Photoshop can also be used to design simple websites, draw textures for other 3D graphic software.
